Last updated: 18 March 2025
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Lift Tracker ("the app", "the service"), whether through the iOS app or the web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
Account Responsibility
When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your contact details up to date.
You are responsible for any content you create within the app, including exercises, workout sessions, and templates.
Guest Accounts
Guest accounts provide temporary access to the app without registration. Guest data is stored in your browser session only and is not backed up. We make no guarantee of data persistence for guest accounts. If you clear your browser cookies or switch devices, your guest data will be permanently lost.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the service
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
Data Ownership
You own your workout data. The service stores it on your behalf and does not claim any ownership rights over the content you create. You may export your data at any time using the export feature within the app.
Service Availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes to the service.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in behaviour that is harmful to other users or the service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lift Tracker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
